When more people have the skills, equipment and confidence to help during a first aid incident, more lives can be saved.
In the same way, every dollar counts. When you donate to St John, you are making a tangible impact in communities across NSW.
When Naomi Martin suffered a cardiac arrest at Qudos Bank Arena in 2013, St John Ambulance NSW volunteers performed CPR for 15 minutes before shocking her with a defibrillator four times - and they saved her life.
We are part of the global St John organisation with a shared purpose of relieving sickness, suffering and distress, and preserving life. We seek to lead globally in first aid and community healthcare responses.
For over 140 years, we have provided
critical medical and first aid care in
the community during emergencies
and at every day events. Our training
empowers Australians with the
knowledge and confidence to care
for each other in times of need.
We’re there - ready to respond. Whether it’s on the side of the football field, through bushfires, floods and pandemics, saving lives or empowering others with the skills they need to save a life, St John is there, watching over the community and keeping people safe.
